'Two Worlds and Nowhere': Video Works by Irina Boboia

'Two Worlds and Nowhere' is a project aimed at revealing the stories of local immigrants and refugees.

Irina Boboia, with collaborator Gaby Lasala, filmed eight interviews with Portland immigrants who shared their private stories of simultaneously being from many places and nowhere while becoming who they are through change and joy and hardship. The result is a video exhibition entitled Two Worlds and Nowhere.

The exhibition will be in our lobby between December 5, 2017 and January 19, 2018.

This program has been made possible by funding from the Regional Arts and Culture Council.

Find more information on the exhibit here.
