Public Art: Fresh Paint Info Session
  • Cost: Free
  • Capacity: 100

Fresh Paint is a professional development initiative from the Regional Arts & Culture Council and Open Signal that offers emerging artists of color the opportunity to design and install a temporary mural.

The Regional Arts & Culture Council and Open Signal invite emerging artists/teams who identify and belong to communities of color and are currently living in Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington Counties in Oregon, and Clark County in Washington to submit proposals for a temporary mural at Open Signal's exterior west-facing wall along Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Each mural will be up for a period of six months.

At this Info Session, staff will share information about the opportunity, resources at Open Signal and present the mural site. We will also go over the steps of how to submit application materials.

The deadline for submissions is Monday, July 16, 2018, before 5:00PM. Please submit your materials here.
