Producer Class: Mobile Cast Unit (MCU) Crash Course

Take your production skills beyond the studio with Open Signal’s Mobile Cast Unit (MCU). In this hands-on class, you'll gain the skills and confidence to plan, set up, operate, and wrap a remote production as part of a live event crew.

Get familiar with the roles, workflows, and technical considerations involved in live remote broadcasting, including equipment setup, camera and audio connections, switching, monitoring, and troubleshooting. By the end of the class, you'll understand how to prepare for a successful production and work with the MCU as part of a live event crew.

This class is open to Open Signal Producers who have completed our Intro to Studio Production class.
