Equipment Checkouts Are Now Up to Three Days Long

Open Signal is reverting back to three-day checkouts for all gear—with the exception of animation equipment, which producers will still be able to check out for seven days, and hard drives for one month. 

This gives our producers the most flexibility in reserving equipment, and it reduces the amount of time for gear to go unused for full checkout periods.

We will still honor all of seven-day reservations created up to this point.

Moving forward, we will also be accepting equipment renewals; a producer can extend their reservation for an additional three days if they call prior to their scheduled check-in time on the equipment due date, so long as the gear is not reserved for someone else.

Equipment checked out on either a Friday or Saturday is due by the following Sunday. Equipment checked out on a Sunday can be returned by the following Wednesday, as we are not open on Mondays or Tuesdays.
