New Meetup: Video Mixer PDX

February 01, 2017

Video Mixer PDX is a free social gathering for video instrument toolmakers and experimental video art enthusiasts, co-hosted by Open Signal and Cathode Ray Consortium.

This event exists to provide a space for hands-on experience with esoteric hardware and software devices, presentation of new work and to celebrate the legacy of video instruments designed to be used in contexts outside the broadcast industry.

Video Mixer PDX's March edition will take place on Saturday, March 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Open Signal, Portland Community Media Center. Register here.

Presenters include LZX Industries, manufacturer of analog video synthesis and processing modules for the  EuroRack format; Paracosm, developers of the software video synthesizer Lumen; and BPMC, creators of boutique video glitch instruments.
