Youth: 90-Second Newbery Film Festival
  • Cost: Free
  • Capacity: 90

Join us for this free, family-friendly screening that reimagines your favorite childhood books as 90-second vignettes from youth filmmakers.

Are you a fan of books like Charlotte's Web and The Giver? The 90-Second Newbery Film Festival is an annual contest where creative youth filmmakers compress Newbery Award-winning books into 90-second films. This popular festival is in its seventh year, screening in New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Portland.

This year's best entries will screen during a gala at Open Signal, organized and hosted by author James Kennedy (The Order of Odd-Fish) and Dale Basye.
