Signal Share: Holiday Variety Show hosted by Pepper Pepper

Signal Share: Holiday Variety Show hosted by Pepper Pepper
  • Cost: Free
  • Capacity: 50

We're throwing a holiday party celebrating you!

Building on our monthly member meetups, Signal Shares are a space for Open Signal members to connect. Each month, we gather with Open Signal staff, producers, supporters and special guests to catch up and share what we've been up to. All are welcome!

Join us for this special edition, a night of music, comedy, snacks, wine, and prizes! It’ll be a mostly wholesome, slightly debaucherous celebration of the past, present and future of community media and the brilliant diversity of our member community. Enjoy performances from a plethora of talented folks from the Open Signal family. Dress code is FUN — think sparkles and sequins (inspiration: Elton John, Walter Mercado). Mingling at 6pm, variety show at 7pm.

This holiday extravaganza will be hosted by Pepper Pepper, a multidisciplinary artist working in performance, video, drag, installation, theater and dance. Pepper (he/they pronouns) explores vulnerability, artifice and identity while turning tragic into magic and trauma into drama.

Also featuring:

  • Saxophonist Omari Williams-Reid;
  • Comedian Michael Buchanan;
  • Singer Torrence Shaw; and
  • Musician Simone Tucker

This event will be filmed and broadcast on our channels at a later date.

Space is limited, so please RSVP at the link below!
