Producer: Marissa Correa

Working Title:  Doña Santos

This project is about my beloved aunt, Maria Santos Correa, who recently crossed over, her journey back to Mexico, and my reconciliation with her impact on who I am.

The project would share parts of her story, coming the US, supporting others journey to the US, and supporting my family with raising me. It is part documentary as I will embark on the journey of returning her ashes to Tepetongo, Zacatecas, Mexico.

This project would explore honoring the family member who mothered many without birthing a child, the strong aunt who was stubborn and not Disney's grandmother from Coco but one who had to to overcome so much and displayed her love by feeding me, and many others.

Producer: Jill Corvelli

Title: A Break

Four collaborate on the daily operations of a life. Loyal, meticulous, creative, and volatile, they navigate illness, innovation, and the forces that bind or free them—demonstrating that connection is neither permanent nor lost, but cyclical.

Producer: Huynh Pool

Title: Sculptor of Life

Deep in an ancient forest, a deity crafts life itself, infusing clay with souls plucked from the sacred Tree of Life—only to watch as time erodes its sculptures, releasing the spirits to begin again.

This story is my own contribution to the vast pool of mythologies of creation. It is one in which the soul exists independent of the life a creator places it into. An indifferent maker of life motivates the cycle of human birth, death and rebirth, and we stand apart, sharing our own interpretations of our perception of the cycle.

Producer: Jovah Siegel

Title: American Gestapo

This documentary explores the impact of ICE activities during the first year of Trump’s to office in 2025. Focusing on a case of mistaken identity that resulted in a month-long wrongful detainment and near deportation of lawfully present Hillsboro citizen. The documentary also follows the experiences of several passionate long-term protesters, labeled “domestic terrorists” by the current administration, and features dramatic footage from some of the most intense moments on the ‘front lines’ of so-called ‘war torn’ Portland across five months of persistent protest outside the ICE facility in the Portland South Waterfront.

For the production cohort screening a special preview cut will be presented, with a selection of many of the best moments from the feature-length documentary which is anticipated to be released later this year.

Producer: Sandra Carter

Title: Wheeling and Dreaming

As a wheelchair user, I've been completely frustrated by the problems with sidewalks, streets and crosswalks in Portland proper, and the inaccessibility of nature trails and pathways for wheelchair users who want to go to forests, lakes or rivers in the region. I would like to document the experiences of wheelchair users, document the problems with roads, sidewalks and crosswalks.

Producer: Daniel Valdez
