Featuring:
Process: A Story of a Collection’s Becoming by Asukulu Songolo
A documentary centered on the creation of Na-Ku-Penda, a clothing collection and documentary produced by fashion and film house, LUUNDO. The project traces the journey of the collection specifically from concept to completion, using fashion as both medium and archive.
Heart and Horse by Lily Michaud
This short motion picture explores the relationship between man, heart, and horse. What is the gallop within? Many paths understand the horse and heart as one. Our roots stretch through time like threads, remembering the strength and allyship of this large, muscular animal—the expanse of its coat. Propelling us and offering centering and stillness. A field of energy that embraces and grounds. It is a gift to care for and protect our friends. Rather than controlling, we’ll hold space and invite connection. Our heart can retain its wildness and independence, while being of service and calling us in.
Heaven is when my shift ends Trailer by Ayana Lance
A glimpse inside the bureaucracy of afterlife. You meet a young woman who is searching for her mother in the Big Office up in the sky.
Autistic Standpoint Theory by Isha Snow
A podcast hosted by Isha Snow, an autistic scholar, author, and community organizer, that reframes autism through the lens of
standpoint theory: the idea that people marginalized by a system often understand it more clearly than those it serves. Episodes combine roundtable conversation with guests, scholarship, and reflective analysis from the Autistic Standpoint Theory Substack, and asks what autistic perspective can teach us about building more honest, humane systems.
Bombing the Invisible Line: A Portland Bike Story by Chelsea Sommer
A short documentary following Blind Bomber, a blind cyclist and well-known Portland bike mechanic. Guided not by sight but by trust, he rides on the back of a tandem piloted by his close trans friend Safety Jack. Together, they defy assumptions about courage, ability, identity, and what it means to belong. Bomber's story takes place against the backdrop of Portland's
unique and vibrant bike community, where the only requirement for belonging is a shared love for riding bicycles.
Butterfly Friend Studio Visits by Biz Miller
A “lo-fi DIY art21” video series. In each episode Biz visits a Portland artist in their studio and documents the time spent together. The latest episode features Jade Novarino, a Portland-based artist, land steward, scribe, teacher, and cook. Jade shares her art practice and talks about the role of place, lineage, and community in her work.
