Join a team for a fast-paced weekend of planning, filming and editing a three-part music video featuring Capoeira São Salvador PDX!
The Open Signal Make-a-Thon is back and so is the Battle of the Band Members! Join one of three production teams and film a music video with Capoeira São Salvador PDX in day-long creative race to the finish. Work together to plan, film and edit one section of the video with support from Open Signal staff and access to our production equipment and spaces.
We’re looking for:
- Directors
- Camera operators
- Gaffers
- Sound mixers
- Editors
We provide the gear, location, and food — you bring your talent and creativity! Food and snacks will be provided. Sign up now to reserve your spot on a team!

Schedule
Friday, October 2nd, 4pm to 6pm: Optional Make-a-Thon Open House and team meet and greet.
Saturday, October 3rd, 12:30pm to 7pm: Meet at Open Signal for brunch and equipment pick-up, filming will take place from 1pm to 7pm.
Sunday, October 4th, 2pm to 4pm: Screening featuring the premiere of the whole video and a celebration with awards from a panel of judges and a live musical performance from Capoeira São Salvador PDX!
