Thanks to the Regional Arts & Culture Council, Open Signal now has a brand-new mural, by local artist Molly Mendoza.

This summer, students from Portland State University will learn how to use Open Signal's studios and create stories for our cable platform.

Bell will lead Open Signal Labs, an exciting spin-off of Open Signal's Production Services department.

This week, Portland City Council passed an amendment to reverse the 5% cut to Open Signal's budget. Thank you to Commissioner Nick Fish for proposing the amendment, Commissioner Eudaly for providing immediate support and to Mayor Wheeler, Commissioner Fritz and Commissioner Saltzman for making it a unanimous vote.

Later this May, illustrator Molly Mendoza will transform Open Signal's exterior, with a mural inspired by our youth media programming.

"XRAY's Reel Voices: A Camp for Young Women" is Open Signal's first summer camp intended to help amend the media gender gap.

High attendance and relevant content made Stories for Change a vital community media conference.
